frozy if the LDoA means you reach lvl 20 before its destruction, how can other chars get it solely by having one get it. What I'm suggesting is only that they make it possible to death-level them with the pet, that's all. This way they will still be hard to get and be possible to get both.

Any player that puts the effort and time into gaining LDOA deserves the title for THAT character. I'm not a fan of account titles for anything but PVP stats. (mostly because PVP normally can benefit from unlocked abilities and what not)

As for getting both, I wouldn't complain if it WERE possible to do by adding a level appropriate boss that would make it possible but if it's attainable by death leveling a pet, that's just silly. If you can earn level 20 killing a level 15 or more with the typical stats and skills for a level 15 in Presear gear without dying you deserve it.

Keep in mind, I would never be crazy enough to try for it either. I don't have a ton of respect for survivor titles. I see too many folks bail on groups when the going gets tight (which tends to get me killed) instead of sticking it out.

I think the record time for LDoA is like 750 hours. Others have taken over 1000 hours. Can you honestly sit here and tell me you'd sit infront of your computer for 750+ hours ressing your pet repeatedly just to get 2 titles in a video game? If you said yes to that, I encourage you to seek psychological help.

If you said no, then how are you going to get both? Setting up a bot to do it seems like the only way. I don't think ANet's going to make a change to the game that encourages botting...

As for putting a level 15 boss in, that seems like a much better solution, however I still wouldn't like the idea much. I mean people have put all the time into getting LDoA would be pretty pissed if it suddenly became easier.

Oh and also allowing LDoA+Survivor on the same char gives prophecies characters a "1-up" over canthan/elonian characters. Basically they have access to 1 more maxable title that canthan/elonian will never get. As it is now, any character from any chapter can get the same amount of maxed titles. Prophecies can get survivor OR LDoA + every other title. Factions/NF get survivor + every other title, keeping it balanced.

Oh and for the record, while I haven't confirmed this myself I've heard rumors of a way you CAN get both in the games current state. First off you need 2 PCs and 2 accounts. Account "A" will have your character going for LDoA+Survivor. Accnt "B" will just be your second account that has a level 16 (highest w/o d-leveling) character on it. So get A and B to 16. If B dies, np. A can't die though.

Okay, so now you need to uninstall GW on A's PC. Now re-install gw and make sure you only have like the bar minimum installed. You don't want any of the areas downloaded, or more specifically, you do NOT want northern lands (place where u d-level char) downloaded.

So now meet in ascalon and have A and B party up. Now head through the gate into the northern lands. Now heres where it gets really tricky. A's PC will start downloading northerlands. You somehow need to limit the download speed to ridiculously slow like 1 byte per minute or something. I don't know how you'd do this but I'm sure some hacker/programmer has made a program to limit your download speed on your PC. So now it'll take A like 8+ hours to load northerlands. During this time, B goes and d-levels the char up to a nice level. Since A hasn't loaded, if I'm not mistaken, B will be able to res. However, if A is loaded, B won't be able to res until both of them are dead. So now like 8+ hours later, stop your program thats limiting the DL speed and then A will load into northerlands. At this point B leaves the game, A somehow manages to kill the high level char without dying. Alternately B could be a monk and keep A alive but that also means A shares the exp with B, meaning it'll take twice as long for A to get the title. Now repeat the above a couple hundred times....

As far as I know, no one has proved or disproved this theory. I know, its ridiculously impractical but if you desperate enough to sit infront of your PC for 750+ hours ressing your pet..... I'd say this method isn't as bad as that....

there is another way where you dont have to install all again

you can force a disconnect, reconnect after 8 minutes (10 minutes = limit)
then force disconnect...
in the mean time account B = lvling the charr up by dieing...
while A disconnects and reconnects all the time...

but those 2 ways (yours and mine)
are just VERY useless lol
it would take ages of time you waste on a line of 20 characters under your name.

And it still won't work -_-

For your ally to resurrect, your character must be dead too. When you are disconnected or you force-disconnect, your character is still in the game, idle, vulnerable to threats, you don't dissapear.

Face it, there is no way to get survivor and LDoA now. All have been tried, and all have failed.

as you go fa away to where u dont die

come back and kill them when u feel you should

or just have a 2nd account come help you.....easy as pie

but this pie takes a long time to make.......

i mean the normal LDoA it is on the border line of psycological help already, but it can be afked!!
actually is not that bad if you leave your pc running the death level stuff and you go for your job or school or whatever and then return to kill the critter and doing that everyday.
but come on staying there to rez the pet every 5 sec!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

jez, dont take me wrong i have more than 4000 hours ingame but i do stuff with guildies or diverse things like quest, missions, gvg and all, even farming... but doing nothing more than clicking one and the same botton over and over and over... every 5 sec.... 10 hours a day.... for 4 months....

anet would be inhuman to implement this.

please look for psycological help.

Ok...now I own all 3 campaigns but why should someone who has Prophecies be able to get one more max title than someone who doesn't have it? LDoA is solely there for a choice: that or survivor. People with only Nightfall and/or Factions would get screwed out of a title. Both at the same should and is not allowed for what I think is that reason.

Allowing monsters to kill your character so they can level up. The purpose of this is to make higher level monsters to kill and gain experience points, as killing monsters 6 levels below your character's level does not grant any experience points, and currently preseering does not have any monsters that allows you to level to 20.

Would have been nice if you could have gotten LDoA and Legendary Surviver from the start, but at this stage I think it would be a bad idea to make it possible. Too many people have had to make the decision about which to go for, if it was made possible now that would be like cheating so many players out of an extra title. My necro has got 11 maxed titles including Legendary survivor, was gutted that I could not get LDoA as well, but man if they make it possible to get it and Legendary Survivor as well it would be horrible.
